The Pencil Grip, Inc., #3- A Review

If you have read my blog for very long at all, you know that we LOVE The Pencil Grip, Inc. You also know that one of our favorite products is their Kwik Stix. You can imagine our delight when we were chosen to review their Thin Stix Creativity Pack.





For those of you not familiar with Kwik Stix, these are solid tempura paint sticks that dry in 90 seconds! My kiddos say they have the same feel to them as glue sticks. The Thin Stix Creativity Pack comes with 12 assorted colors, 6 neon colors, and six metallic colors. The kiddos were so excited to be able to try the neon and metallic colors. They have not been able to use those before!
Of course we always want to make a beautiful masterpiece when we get to try new colors of Kwik Stix! This time was not different. The kiddos took full advantage of the neon colors while creating their pictures! Sister said it made her sun and grass so much brighter! 

Look at all the concentration! The Kiddos definitely get their artistic side from Daddy T. The all love to color, draw and paint! They love getting to paint more often!

The final products are beautiful! I love that they get to create and I don't have a ton of clean-up afterwards. And since Kwik Stix dry quickly, I can hang them up immediately without worrying about ruining them or the paint dripping. This creates a definite win-win in our house. 

This time around we wanted to try something new. The kiddos wanted to paint pumpkins, and since I am spoiled to no clean-up, I thought it would be a great time to see how Kwik Stix did on other surfaces:

The kiddos loved getting to try something new! They were curious how well the paints would work on the pumpkins as well. They were so creative. Brother Bear took full advantage of the metallic colors. His cute little pumpkin below later had gold headphones and silver sun-glasses! I love getting to watch them create!

Kwik Stix worked great on the pumpkins! I have to admit, I was shocked. I knew that Kwik Stix were amazing and worked on paper, cardboard, wood, and canvas, but who would have thought that they would be perfect for painting pumpkins!?! I was so grateful, yet again, that I could allow them to paint without all the stress and mess! 

Kwik Stix have been a game changer in our home! We all have deemed them our favorite product! We love getting the opportunity to share them with you! If you haven't tried them yet, you should, they are fabulous! I think these would be a great Christmas present for any child in your life!
