Challenge: Live Intentionally

If you are anything like me, you find yourself getting sucked into whatever social media source that you use, and getting lost for hours! It's a real problem in my life. I will log-on to check emails and 45 minutes later I am cruising through videos of funny goats.

Of course, Sarah at The Thinking Tree created a book to help those of us with this issue: How to Escape The Digital World & Enjoy Reality.

I think the greatest thing about this book is that it is not a 'get off the internet' kind of book. It is a 12-day, 45 minute challenge to help you learn to balance your time better and live intentionally.
We all know that the internet is a fabulous resource. The problem is that, at least for me, I am not good at balancing it with everyday life. I tend to get lost in a world of likes and comments. This book challenges me to get off the internet for 45 minutes everyday and be intentional with my time!

Like all the other Thinking Tree books, the art work is precious! Sarah is so very talented.

Each day there is a question to help get you thinking about being intentional with your time. There are 4 pages for you to journal, color. and read to get you thinking.

There are poems each day to go along with whatever the theme of that day is. Plus, there are places to draw or write your ideas and thoughts about that days poem and questions.
Each day has a quote from a mom that, like myself, struggles to balance their time. I love that I am not alone in this.

After you have finished your 4 pages, I believe that it is a good time to live that days theme. Whether it be going outside for a walk, calling or visiting a friend, or just coloring with your kids, this is the perfect time to practice what you learn.

I am excited to be starting my challenge this Monday! I need to be more intentional with my time here in the online world.  I love all the relationships that I have here, but there are others in my life beyond the computer screen.

Do you want to join me? I would love for you to! You can get your copy on Amazon

Like all Thinking Tree posts, I am linked-up with Linda at Homeschooling 6. If you are looking for more information on these books or how other moms use them, come on over! We'd love to share more with you!
